About HSF
Healthy San Francisco is a program designed to make health care services available and affordable to uninsured San Francisco residents. It is operated by the San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH).
Healthy San Francisco is available to all San Francisco residents regardless of immigration status, employment status, or pre-existing medical conditions. Currently, Healthy San Francisco provides health coverage to approximately 12,000 uninsured San Francisco residents.
As noted on the Visitors page, there are specific eligibility requirements for Healthy San Francisco. For instance, you must be a San Francisco resident and have income at or below 500% of the Federal Poverty Level.* Depending on your income, you may pay modest fees for health coverage through Healthy San Francisco.

Customer Service representatives are available on Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am to 5:30pm, except on federal holidays.
